On 28 February 2015, H.E. Mr. Peerasak Chantavarin, Ambassador of Thailand to Egypt, presided over the 12th Mini Soccer Cup 2015, organized by the Royal Thai Embassy in Cairo in cooperation with the Thai Students’ Association in Cairo during 28 February – 10 March 2015 at Al-shabab Club, Nasr city. The tournament brought together 45 soccer teams to compete for the championship and attracted around 600 spectators per day.
In his opening remarks, the Ambassador points out the significance of sport in enhancing harmony and unity as well as strengthening Thai community spirit.
