On 3 December 2015, the Royal Thai Embassy in Cairo hosted a reception at Ambassador’s residence to celebrate the auspicious occasion of the 88th Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej and the National Day of Thailand. The event was attended by over 250 guests from the Egyptian public and private sectors, diplomatic corps, Thai workers and Thai students.
On this occasion, H.E. Mr. Peerasak Chantavarin, Ambassador of Thailand delivered a speech to salute His Majesty the King and praised an excellent existing relation between Thailand and Egypt and invited the guests to join in the cradle lit ceremony for blessing good health and long live to His Majesty the King. H.E. Mr. Yasser Murad, Assistant Foreign Minister for Asian Countries and Pacific Ocean Islands Affairs of Egypt, attended the event as the Guest of Honor.
